Bio: I'm a total health, food, and fitness enthusiast. I believe letting food be our medicine and staying as far away from the doctor's office as possible. Eating clean wholesome real food is the prevention AND the cure for illness. Having had health issues throughout my life and getting absolutely no answers from the medical establishment, I have learned that the cure for illness is right in our produce section. Eating real food .... fruits, veggies, lean proteins, lots of healthy fats and fiber, a small amount of sprouted grains and nuts is the key that opens the door to health and wellness. Adding exercise that is appropriate for the individual's needs and getting plenty of rest are critical. Health is not only about what we put in our mouths. It's also about what comes out of our mouths. We are the words that we speak. The words we use about ourselves, others, and life in general have a huge impact on our emotional health just as much as the foods we eat have an impact on our physical health. Together, these two can make or break our wellness.
