To Your Health

Welcome to my blog. Having been a holistic health practitioner, former massage therapist, and colon hydrotherapist for nearly 13 years. It is my mission to bring to you cutting edge information on nutrition, cleansing, wellness, and most importantly, health as it pertains specifically to you. We are not all created the same. We are all very different and have very specific nutritional and health needs.

Through experimenting with our diets, fitness, and lifestyles, we are better able to tweak our routines to suite our needs. But you will not find this in a book, on the internet, or in a magazine. Because nobody knows your body better than you do. Yes, as professionals, it is our job to coach you along the way, but ultimately you are the one who knows what works and what doesn’t. 

Taking lifestyle into consideration, we are able to make adjustments that will help you become the expert in your health and healing.  

Being healthy means being full of abundant energy. Not the kind that comes in the form of a Starbucks cup. But true energy that comes from eating a wholesome whole foods diet, exercising daily, getting plenty of rest, doing regular cleanses, and learning the signals your body sends out when things are out of balance.  

This week try 3 new things. 

  1. Add more water to your day. A minimum of 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day.
  2. Move your bootay. Whether you go for a 3 mile run, a 30 minute walk, take yoga, or chase your kids in the park….get outside and move. Exercise is guaranteed to help remove free radicals from your body and is a natural detoxifier.
  3. Crowd out some of the junk in your diet by adding in more vegetables….preferably green. Try adding some steamed broccoli to your dinner and a dinner salad. Toss some kale into your omelets. Snack on carrots instead of chips. If you can handle eating raw….go for it. If you feel you need to slightly steam your veggies, do it for just enough time to take the edge off.

Making small changes one by one….really makes all the difference in the world. And you will only have yourself to thank.
